• 64km of roads rebuilt in urban and rural communities
• 16km of sidewalks replaced
• 3 new playgrounds, 3 replaced, 3 to be replaced in 2027
• added portable toilets, benches and shade structures to several public parks
• coming soon new Summit Park splash pad
• new pilot cricket pitch at Tapleytown Men’s Club Park
• 48 speed cushions installed *
• 2 raised crosswalks installed, 2 more in the works *
• 12 community safety zones implemented, 2 more in the works*
• 36 Ward Days meeting residents at Valley Park Community Centre
• 11 Ward Town Hall Meetings at Salvation Army Winterberry Heights Church
• 7 community free skates and free open swims at Valley Park
• over 4,000 trees planted throughout the ward
• new Valley Park water slide, gymnasium floor and Bike Share pilot
• working to build a new #17 fire station using development charges
• secured increased police presence for traffic stops and to deter crime

Brad Clark fighting GFL landfill odours…

• successfully advocated for night air monitoring
• secured city funded independent air monitoring
• successfully advocated for clay capping at final contours
• led the city’s advocacy to Minister, Deputy Minister and District Office of MECP
• secured council resolution to prevent any future landfill expansion requests
• secured council support requesting the Ontario Government to close landfill
• secured city council support to proceed with Sec. 447.1 litigation to close landfill
• worked to find the legal firms to represent residents in lawsuit
• fully participated in every GFL community update meeting & every CLC meeting
• joined residents at every protest to end the stink and close the landfill
• worked with MP Ned Kuruc to host two federal community meetings

Brad Clark’s Priorities for next term…

• GFL Landfill: Deliver a final solution to end the GFL stink
• Road and Sidewalk Infrastructure: Continue fixing our roads, sidewalks and pathways
• Park and Playground Infrastructure: Continue improving recreation amenities in our parks and replacing outdated playgrounds without impacting taxes using ward reserves
• Protect your wallet: Continue to advocate to control spending and find efficiencies
• Improve transparency and accountability: Continue to advance public access by design policies to minimize the need for Freedom of Information applications
• End gridlock at Rymal and Trinity Church: Continue my advocacy to extend the Upper Redhill Valley Parkway into Glanbrook as the necessary lands have been purchased
• End gridlock on the Linc: The city is finalizing an Environmental Assessment for widening the Linc to six lanes with centre barriers
• Urban boundary expansion: Continue to support reasonable and responsible growth to meet the housing demands in Ward 9 while preserving prime agricultural lands
• Strengthening public safety: Hire more police officers, fire fighters and paramedics as required
• Improving pedestrian safety: Continue to work with residents and staff to implement reasonable traffic calming initiatives on residential streets
• Improve community fire safety: Continue working to replace #17 fire station and build a new station in Elfrida using development charges as a means of funding
• Encourage Ward 9 civic engagement: Continue to host town hall meetings, constituent ward days and open houses
